Leo Mangan

I was appointed as a Notary Public in Ireland in 1985. I formed my own law firm, Mangan, O’Beirne Solicitors, in 1973. In 2014, I retired from practice both as a Solicitor and as a Notary Public.
I served as a director of The Faculty of Notaries Public in Ireland from 1993, with various responsibilities including chairperson of the Professional Practice Committee and Deputy President. In 2019 I was appointed as a Fellow of the Faculty of Notaries Public in Ireland.
In 2013, I was a founding director of the Common Law Association of Notaries originally named the World Organisation of Notaries. I was President for the years 2018 to 2020 and I now serve as the Immediate Past President.
